Coventry Sphinx have been given a home tie in the draw for the MFL League Cup. Details of the draw for the opening rounds were released by the league today and Coventry Sphinx will host Leicester Road.
Leicester Road are based in Hinckley and play in Division 1 of the Midland Football League. They will travel to Premier Division Coventry Sphinx on Tuesday 25th September to compete for a place in the last 16 of the competition. Last season Leicester Road had a strong season in Division 1 and finished in 4th on 90 points, just 5 points away from the promotion places.
