Tuesday 7th March, 7.45pm

After Saturday’s 3-0 home win Sphinx are back on their travels with a trip to Tividale. The hosts are currently rooted to the bottom of the MFL Premier Division in their first season back after suffering relegation the season before this. Sphinx recently travelled to relegation threatened Brocton and returned pointless so they will not be taking this game lightly.
The two sides met early in the season at Sphinx Drive and played out a 1-1 draw in August. Darren Eggleton opened the scoring for Sphinx in the third minute but Tividale snatched a point with a 67th minute equaliser from Jamie Hunt. Sphinx have a number of suspension and injury issues to contend with ahead of this game which will test Stuart Dutton’s squad depth.
Tividale are not in the best of form at the moment and are without a win in their last five games. Since the turn of the year they have a record of one win in eight games and their last home victory came in mid-December when they overcame Quorn 3-2. They have had some tough matches in that recent run of games though including two matches against second place Coleshill Town and a game against leaders Alvechurch.
Sphinx arrive on the back of a win against Wulfrunians at the weekend which ended their mini run of three games without a win. The clean sheet they achieved on Saturday was their first in twelve games although they had the form of their keeper Scott Dutton and the woodwork to thank for that. Sphinx have a decent away record but they are now five games without a win on the road.
