we just didn't want the win as much as the home side who deserve credit. We've now got to move on to the next game and bounce back

The winning streak finally came to an end for the new look CPD Sychdyn side, when they traveled away to their local rivals Mold Town United.

The game started at a god tempo with both teams desperate to take the advantage. Sychdyn's first chance came in the 5th minute when a ball put through to Tim Hughes resulting in a one - on - one resulted in a good save by the Mold Keeper.

On the 15th Minute Mold capitalised on a strange refereeing decision which was comfortably place into the back of the net by the experienced Dean Gittins.

Mold Town would continue to press the away side with numerous chances until the end of the first half.

The second half of the game saw Sychdyn begin to play the style of football they have become known for in the previous games, by simply playing the ball on the ground and switching the play.

Despite numerous attempts on goal, the home side remained solid until the final whistle and kept the clean sheet they deserved.

"we always knew this would be one of our toughest games this month as the majority of the lads know each other well, so it was always going to be a heated, physical battle between the 2 sides. When it comes to the game, we just didn't want the win as much as the home side who deserve credit. We've now got to move on to the next game and bounce back" commented a frustrated Shaun Antrobus.
