Soccer Starz - Fun Football
SoccerStarz is a community programme formed in 2011 by Tynygongl FC. We deliver a wide range of affordable activities, designed to bring together all members of the local community, regardless of their background.
Working within Anglesey and Gwynedd we are working hard to achieve our vision:
“To work in our local communities to improve the quality of life for neighbourhoods through sport, social and educational opportunities”
Fun Football
SoccerStarz is accredited by The Fun Football Charter Mark Programme that was introduced to provide local authorities, clubs and private organisations in Wales with a benchmark scheme for the delivery of curricular and extracurricular activities within the boundaries of each local authority.
We place a real emphasis on partnership working and this allows us to deliver such a wide variety of football related activities for 3 to 16 year old boys and girls.
A number of our activities are based at Treetops, where we have fantastic facilities. However a large percentage of our work is carried out within schools and community centres throughout the local area.
The Community programme is constantly evolving and the coming months will see us launch a number of new initiatives. This will prove to be an exciting time for the local communities and Tynygongl FC alike.
