Crawley RFC Hosts Biggest Ever School Tag Event
Crawley RFC play host to over 230 school children from the towns middle schools running a day of training and games in conjunction with Sussex RFU.
CRFC were pleased to host what turned out to be the largest turn out ever for is twice a year tag day for the middle schools in Crawley. The day normally atracts around a hundred participants but the take up on this event surprised everyone including Mick Orton, Community Liaison Officer at Sussex RFU.
With so many children attending combined with the unseasonally warm weather, the CRFC coaches, Grant, Richard, Tony, Bill and Ian had their work cut out but feedback afterwards from both the children and the teachers was that everyone had a great day.
