His glittering career needs no introduction. He is considered to be one of the finest goalscorers of his generation and was one of the greatest football players England has ever produced. He is third on our national team scoring charts with 44 goals in just 57 games.
His domestic record also speaks volumes, still holding records as leading scorer for Tottenham Hotspur as well as being the division’s top marksman in six different seasons.
