Cray's three senior youth teams were in action today with mixed results for them.
The U16s won their first game of the season 1-0 against Meridian VP at the Meridian Sports Centre. Ometefe Edosio scored the winner for the Wands in a game the young Wands generally dominated.
The U14s were beaten 9-0 in their first game at home to Tunbridge Wells Youth.
The U13s despite playing some good one touch football were beaten 3-0 against a very sharp and much more clinical Bridon Ropes also at Meridian Sports Club on the artificial pitch. Two well taken first half goals for the home side put the Wands on the back foot. The game was sealed by another fine strike in the second half.
