Wands travel to Waltham Abbey on Saturday

The Wands look to build on Wednesday's thrilling comeback against Aveley with a trip to Essex to face Waltham Abbey tomorrow.

Cray showed a lot of character on Wednesday with 10 men to come back and go to Cappershots in good heart with a... three game unbeaten run.

Waltham Abbey are currently 12th in the table and had a decent run in the FA Cup going out in the 3rd Qualifying Round. Wands fans may remember we played Waltham Abbey in our first season in the Ryman Premier in 2009/10. Waltham Abbey won 2-1 at Cray whilst The Wands won the return match 1-0 with a goal from Leigh Bremner.

The address for Waltham Abbey is: Capershotts, Sewardstone Road, Waltham Abbey, Essex EN9 1NX

A very easy ground to find by car. Simply exit the M25 at junction 26 and then take the 2nd exit if you are coming Anti-clockwise around the M25 into A121 Honey Lane, or 3rd exit if you are coming around the other way. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit into Sewardstone Road and pass over the M25. The ground is the first right BEFORE the cemetary. If you pass the Nissan garage you have gone too far. Parking is free of charge. Nearest train is Waltham Cross where you can catch a bus to the ground from the bus station opposite the station exit.
