Roger passed away last Saturday and although the news was not entirely unexpected, it does not make it any easier. As well as playing for Creighton, he also played for city rivals Carlisle and Langholm.

Roger was a true gentleman who bore physical ailments in recent years with great dignity. He will be sadly missed.

The funeral will take place at Carlisle Crematorium at 2.20pm on Friday 29th January 2016 with refreshments in the clubhouse afterwards.
