This Sunday see's the Crewe Alexandra Ladies first team return to their league campaign after 4 weeks without a league fixture. The ladies travel to Burnley to play a team that has only lost once in the league so far this season. This fixture has been postponed twice already this season due to a waterlogged pitch. The Alex ladies will be hoping to build on last week's County Cup display against Stockport after being 0-2 down at half time they managed to win 4-2 in extra time. The last time these two teams played was in the first week in the season as Crewe managed to get a late goal back in the dying minutes of the game having conceeded from a direct free kick in the first half. This fixture promises to be a tough game of which Burnley will fancy themselves due to their so far succesfull league campaign. With Crewe undefeated since 2014 however confidence in the camp is high the ladies will be looking to bring the 3 points back to Cheshire.
