Next week will see the launch of girls RL at Crigglestone All Blacks with the first training session on Monday 23rd May 6.30PM to 7.30PM and again on Wednesday 25th May at the same times. Where all girls at every age will be welcomed our focus is on starting U12/14 & 16s, that's school years 7 9 & 11.
For quite some time now we have looked at starting up a girls team but never really had the support and focus to get things off the ground and after seeing many girls playing at both our club and for other teams up to U11's in mixed teams, we have then witnessed them leave the game completely with no future teams in place for them to continue playing in.
Now with the additional coaches training courses we have sent people on and new volunteers at the club, we now have the resources in place to take this memorable step forward. Also we have specific funding in place to help support the girls teams and this also opens up other income streams to the club to help grow and support girls RL.

We will also be promoting the start up of a girls RL team at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats next home game, with information in the match day program and representatives from the club handing out flyers on the day.
