Cromer Town welcomed Suffolk based Thurlow Nunn club Cornard United to Cabbell Park for an early pre-season friendly. In an entertaining match both sides created numerous chances. Which could have lead to a high scoring game but for some good work by both goalkeepers. Cornard United took the lead in the second half with a Cornard striker putting the ball past Cromer`s advancing keeper Jake Munday and into the Crab`s net. The Crabs drew level when Mike Lewandowski rifled in a great strike from 30 yards. Cromer Town winning goal was scored by Karl Horton from the penalty spot striking the ball home to the left of Cornards keeper.
