In conditions that were not in favour of flowing rugby both teams treated the watching crowd with a fine display of junior rugby. An early score from Beddall looked like it could lead to an avalanche of points, and with breaks from Singleton, Little and Cragg, backed up by strong runs from Gregory, Barber and Moriarty, and with T.Burns controlling the ruck area, it looked only a matter of time before the opposition line was breached again, but credit to Hindley they regrouped and held strong finally breaking the Cobras line for a try of their own to leave the half time score 6-4. With the Cobras forcing an error direct from the kick off once again more pressure was on the opposition line eventually breaking as Kohe-Love sliced through to score. once again Hindley came back scoring a try and managed to put the home team under some presssure of their own, but strong defence from Sidhu and Cole, the later with a great tackle on his own line to bring down the ball carrier ,kept the opposition out. With the clock running down and both teams desperate to score, a smart short side move saw Fisher, on his return to the team, score in the corner beating the first tackler to dive in just inside the flag. A huge round of applause met the teams at the end as the watching crowd greatly appreciated the effort that both groups of players had put in. MOM as chosen by Hindley was Beddall with the Cobras MOM going to Singleton.
