England player development club accreditation

Crosfields have today been accredited as an England player development club.

This demonstrates the work we are putting in off the field to improve the development of each individual who chooses to develop at Crosfields.

Embed the Pathway is a coaching programme that aims to increase the number of quality 12-14 year old Rugby League players through the education and training of children's coaches. It is the belief of the RFL Performance Department that every young player from 12 years old is on the England Talent Pathway. This “scheme of work” is a programme of Coach Education and Inclusive Player Profiling that shows where players individual development should be focussed.

Last November a number of our coaches from Crosfields attended a series of Coaching seminars lead by Phil Jones and various staff at Warrington Wolves looking at how we can better aid the development of each individual player. Those coaches are now recognised as England development coaches.

We have now as a club due to the efforts of those coaches been accredited as an England player development club recognising the high standards of coaching and the quality environment we produce for each of our youngsters.
