Ian Bateman delivered another of his popular coach development sessions for Crosfields coaches.
On Wednesday, 9th November, Ian Bateman delivered another of his popular coach development sessions for Crosfields coaches. Ian worked with our U10 boys and looked at what mini-soccer matchday should look like - managing players, managing parents and managing expectations. Ian used 'task cards' to set individual players challenges which affected the game tremendously. The session with the boys lasted an hour, from 6.30 to 7.30 and Ian was able to discuss the session and approaches to mini-soccer matches afterwards.
Those coaches who were able to attend said it was a really useful session and planned to implement some of the ideas into their matchdays.
