Crosfields JFC's Club Ethos and Coaching Philosophy have been highlighted by the FA in the first Issue of its new magazine 'The Boot Room'

The Boot Room is the FA's new magazine and is available to all members of the FA Licensed Coach Club. The article, starting on page 51 of the inaugural edition, was put together by the Editor, Peter Glynn, together with Club Chairman, Paul Smalley, and FA Regional Coach Development Manager, Ian Bateman.

It outlines the Club Ethos and Rules and features Paul and Ian's reflections on its implementation and successes. It also contains material from our Top Ten Tips for Coaching booklet, which is issued to all new coaches at Crosfields.

This is a key moment for the club, and this sort of recognition and publicity, together with our award as Regional Charter Standard Community Club of the Year, shows what a forward thinking club we are.

Corsfields JFC will pay for all of our coaches to join the FA Licensed Coach scheme - this shows that a coach's training, emergency aid and child protection are all up to date and has many benefits for the coach, including 'The Boot Room'. To sign up go to http://facc.thefa.com
