Season Review

2 years ago By Stewart Whittaker

Good Bye to Some very familiar faces...

As the curtain comes down on the 2015/16 season id like to thank all the coaches, club volunteers, parents and players for all the hard work and dedication.

As the current under 18s squad are about to leave for uni, work and other adventures I would like to take the chance to thank one of our longest serving coaches John Whittaker has coached the current under 18s Athletics since they were under 6s, during this spell John has also held various committee posts including club sec. I would like to thank John for the countless years of voluntary dedication to grass roots football on behalf of both the current and past committee members. This summer also sees another long term face at Crosfields JFC take a step back from coaching having been round the clock once already, Colin Jeffery our current head of age for u12s is finally putting his coaching whistle on the hanger to be able to enjoy both his boys football, as they will both be playing on a sunday. Colin is in discussion with the club to look at what role he can take on and will still be a big part of the club, ensuring all the experience he has isn't lost.

Thanks Guys, real grass roots heros!
