Soccer Parent Roadshow
FA Regional Coach Development manager, Ian Bateman, came along to training to deliver the first of our Soccer Parent Evenings.
Ian was accompanied by Crosfields Chairman, Paul Smalley, Club Secretary, Andy Thomas, and Chair of Mini-Soccer Laura Woodcock at the first evening of Soccer Parent Talks which took place on Monday 1st August at Great Sankey. This first evening was primarily aimed at Mini-Soccer Parents: at 6.45 parents of U6/7/9 players listened intently as the Club Ethos was outlined . At 7.15 a smaller number of parents of U8/11 players heard a very similar presentation.
The aim of this event is to ensure all parents are aware of the club's ethos and able to support our coaches in ensuring that football has the children at the centre.
For those parents who were not able to attend further Soccer Parent Events are planned for Monday 5th September and Wednesday 14th September. All parents of children at Crosfields JFC should attend one of these evenings.
