Community Football Activity:
Saturday 9.30–10.30am (AWP Pitch 1)
Health and Safety on the AWP
•All persons accessing the AWP via the routes identified do so in a safe manner by walking not running.
•All junior teams are to be accompanied to the AWP by parents or coaches and not left to access or exit by themselves.
•No team should use the tennis courts to warm up or train on prior to accessing the AWP.
•Suitable All Weather Shoes must be worn. Studded or bladed boots are strictly prohibited.
•Whenever possible (pitch 1 & 3) spectators should stand at the sides of the pitch and avoid standing behind goals where the chances of being hit by a football are much higher
•No one should ever be allowed to climb or play on the nets or goal posts.
•Moving or tampering with any fixture or fittings is strictly prohibited.
•Litter and debris is placed in the bins provided, No litter is dropped on the walkways
•Bikes are prohibited
•Young children are kept under supervision and control at all times whilst on the AWP itself and are not allowed to play on the tennis courts nor on the walkways.
•After your training session please move immediately form the area and onto the tennis courts (tarmac area next to the AWP entrance) - team arrangements, hand outs newsletters etc. can be done in this area away from the AWP.
•Spectators need to remain aware of the potential dangers of standing in an active sports area at all times, young children (players and spectators) in particular need to be made aware and protected from being hit by footballs by their parents/guardians
