The club held an in-house game on Sunday and 26 invited players with Step 5 and higher playing experience took part.
Preparations for 2016/17 well underway.
With many of last season's squad remaining with the club for the upcoming campaign, our management team of Sean Muggeridge and Steve Ives, are looking to sign may be two or three more players to help the squad improve on last season's seventh position.
Having already secured the services of the vastly experienced Lee Carey, the club have identified the calibre of player/players they are looking for and the in-house game on Sunday was a further step in the direction of looking at players who will improve an already excellent squad.
The twenty-six players had already expressed an interest in participating in the in-house game by contacting Sean directly, as had many others, however, Sean had to restrict the numbers and players had to at least meet the criteria of playing at Step 5 or more preferably higher.
There were some outstanding performances on the day and there's no doubt some will be seen again when pre-season training starts officially on Saturday, 18th June.
