FA LEAGUE COMMITTEE MEET TODAY?

Several clubs have tweeted, others have re-tweeted, that the FA League Committee are meeting today in preparation for the 2015/16 season.

More than likely, some will be happy, others will be unhappy.
The committee which moved us from the SCFL to the SCEFL for season 2014/15, is rumoured to be meeting today and therefore, clubs who have requested promotion and those that are hopefully, going to be saved from relegation, will find out their fate.
There will probably be some clubs who feel nothing will happen to them but they may find that the FA League Committee have other ideas as no club is really safe from their clutches in the end.
One club hoping to avoid relegation, again, will be Redhill FC who, if they are relegated, may find themselves playing in the Combined Counties League, or they could find themselves back in the SCFL, or as it will be known by next season, the Southern Combination Football League.
Plus, they are also looking for a new manager since they relieved Mather of his duties and one ex-Crows player, Gavin Gordon, has put his name forward and has expressed an interest in taking over the reins at Redhill.
Gordon missed much of last season with a knee injury and at 34 is looking forward to the future as he would like to stay in football and especially if that could be with Redhill, a club close to his heart and one he has spent the last four seasons with.
He still hopes to extend his playing career as well but with an upcoming knee operation likely to be the decisive operation that will determine whether he can play on or not, he feels he has a lot to offer in management.
Let's hope all clubs get the news they want but my guess will be that some will be smiling but others will be crying once things are announced.
