Goalkeeper Callum Hampson has taken the opportunity to join Lingfield FC.

Best wishes.
Following Nick Collick's return to the club, after his short spell with East Preston, to resume his position as the regular First Team goalkeeper, which he held for the vast majority of last season, Callum has decided he does not want to play reserve team football and that his future is best suited at another club.
Callum performed admirably whilst in the first team this season after gaining the number one spot following Michal Czanner decision to go back to Tunbridge Wells FC in a player/goalkeeping coach role.
Although he started this season in the U21 squad it's totally understandable that once he's had the taste of first team football that he may feel it's a backward step to return to the U21 squad.
However, the position of goalkeeper is a unique one, clubs need two for every team but players don't want to be on the bench most of the time and only playing the odd game here and there.
Therefore, moves of goalkeepers from one club to another in search of first team football is quite normal and whilst one door appears to shut, another one normally opens and this hoes for Callum just as it does for any other goalie.
He leaves with the best wishes of all connected with CAFC and we hope he has a good time whilst at Lingfield FC.
