IT RATHER PUTS FOOTBALL IN TO PERSPECTIVE.

The sad events which happened on Saturday, down on the A27 by Shoreham Airport during their Air Show, should remind us all, football is only a game.

It should be enjoyed by all.
Crowborough Athletic FC send their condolences to all families who have had to endure the loss of a family member following the tragic events which occurred on Saturday.
Accidents do happen in this world and for whatever reason Saturday's events came to unfold, these will be investigated by all the relevant organisations and lessons learned as to how to minimise such accidents happening in the future.
However, whilst these investigations may help, they will not take away the grief and heartache felt by relatives who are now mourning the loss of a loved one.
For the wider football family that we all belong to, our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved with Worthing United as the events at Shoreham have taken two of their young players from them.
The two players involved lost their lives whilst travelling to play a game of football for their club, when they set off you can imagine they were probably in good spirits and the banter in their car was about the match they were due to play in.
Sadly, they never reached their destination as fate intervened and they will no longer be able to be involved in a game that we all are able to enjoy still and participate in at whatever level.
It would be a fitting tribute to the memory of these two players if we, the greater football family, learn to respect each other more, play the game in the correct manner and whether we win, draw or lose, shake hands and have a beer with each other afterwards.
Even though no one can stop accidents happening, we can, possibly, make sure that something positive can come from the loss of these two young players from our world and that their passing has not been in vain.
Nothing we can do will bring them back, however, we can make sure that we honour them and their lives by making sure we try to improve ourselves as human beings and remember that there are now some families who are going through a very tough time whilst we are doing something we love.
