Good numbers turned out for Croydon Hurricanes first open age training session. Its been a long term ambitions of Director of Rugby Derrick Copeland to add an adult side to the Hurricanes portfolio. The club intend to build a pathway allowing Juniors to continue playing at a senior level when Juniors have completed. Croydon Hurricanes will enter in a merit league for 2015 season where they hope to make their debut in May. Club Director of Rugby Derrick Copeland commented that this an exciting time to be apart of Croydon Hurricanes with the club recent move to their new home in an central location of the borough at Lloyd Park. We see the creation of an adult team bringing the good times back of when the Old South London Storm we're the driving force in South London. Hurricanes are currently training every Tuesday evening at their secondary base Archbishop Lanfranc Academy on Mitcham Road.
