Cardiff University Korfball Club is pleased to have Ruth and Ramzi at the club this year. Both are both very experienced players who are in the current Wales national squad and have a lot to bring to our club. We are proud to have them coaching the first and second teams this year and look forward to working with them.
It is an exiting and promising season ahead and we believe that with these two great coaches we can make some notable achievements. Last year the club had their best performances in student competitions for many years. The first team were unlucky in their group but fought off the competition in the bottom eight to claim 9th place at Nationals. The seconds were agonisingly close in the Club Championships, losing by penalty shoot-out in the 3rd/4th play-offs!
The club has great potential and Ruth and Ramzi will bring out the best in our players. The first training sessions start mid-september and anyone is welcome to come along!
