This week we have lost one of our Life Members Val, who dedicated 59 years serving food to "her boys" after a game of rugby and looking after the skittle teams.
She passed away peacefully on Tuesday at the Exeter Hospice.

Val started helping at the club aged 19 in 1955 when the Rugby Club was based at the Cullompton Hotel, retiring this last August.

In later years she could be seen at 8am walking up to the club to do her skittles food and a few jobs around the club.
Val last made the trip in Mid November before her short battle with cancer.

Cullompton Rugby Football Club was her family. The highlight for Val was going to Twickenham when Cullompton won the eDF Energy Senior Vase final.

She will be sorely missed by everyone.
