Around the U12 Leagues 31st March 2012
Linfield and St Oliver Plunkett's won their respective semi-finals to set up the U12 Final on 7th May 2012 at Ballymena. They beat Ballymena United amd Glentoran from the Lisburn Junior Invitational League to reach the final.
Of the 10 NIBFA Cup Finalists in age groups under 12 to under 16, 9 teams are from the National League with only Lisburn Distillery from the Lisburn Junior Invitational League making it to a final.
There was no change at the top of the National League A Division with none of the top teams in action.
In the National League B Division Limavady have gone top above long time leaders Carniny by two points but Carniny have a must win match left to play and could yet win the title.
There was no movement at the top of the Lisburn Junior Invitational League with Glentoran in NIBFA Cup action. The Glens lost out 1:0 to National League A Division side St Oliver Plunkett's FC to lose their first match of the season. The Glens have been injury hit in recent weeks was a contributing factor.
In the South Belfast Youth league Premier Division it remains as they were. Both Immaculata and Ardoyne won 4:2 at home and Immaculata are top by 2 points from Ardoyne with 18 matches in the 10 team league.
In the South Belfast Youth League First Division Carryduff strengthened their lead with a 3:0 home win over second placed Aquinas. They are now 9 points clear from 2nd placed Aquinas though the two games Aquinas have in hand now look academic with Carryduff having played 16 games in the 9 team league.
