After three successive away games to start the season, Cults Cosalt begin an eight home game run with the visit of Inverurie on Saturday. The Garioch club came within two points of second place in last year's Grade 1 and have some dangerous looking players in their ranks in the shape of George Hadden, Gary Coutts and Trevor Norval. They boast fighting qualities, as demonstrated in their defending of 120 at Grammar last week, and should not be taken lightly at Allan Park.
It's a trip to Crathie for the Cults Artisans outfit and, although the home side have somewhat limped along in their opening fixtures, they are wily competitors on their own patch. Our Grade 2 side have been in blistering form with the bat so far (well most of them have) and will hope to continue this form in the first game of a two-months stint on the road. Table-toppers Gordonians begin their Strathmore season on Saturday, so it will be interesting to see how their second-string fares at the Broch.
Both our sides are unbeaten thus far and will obviously be intent on preserving this record as the title challengers settle into position.
