Scottish Rugby Level 1 Referee Course @ Cumnock RFC

Scottish Rugby will be running a Level1 Refereeing course at Cumnock RFC on Sunday 22nd June

Course will commence at 0930 and will be a great opportunity to start refereeing in our game for coaches at all levels in rugby.

You must complete the IRB Rugby Ready online assessment before attending a Level 1 course which can be found by following the link below

The Level 1 course is 6 hours in total so will last most of the day. with a practical assessment (at a later date when the candidate is ready). All attendees will receive a Law Book, Age Grade Law Variation Booklet and course handouts.

After you've passed the short exam and practical assessment, you are licensed to referee up to and including Regional League 2, Schools, youth, mini rugby, tag and new image.

The course is free but should you wish to referee for your local referee society, you will be asked to pay the annual subscription

You must register for the course by contacting your region's referee development manager with your name, address and telephone numbers.
