Fullback/midfielder, skilful versatile player who should prove to be a great signing for Curzon.
Andy Heald
Fullback signed from Warrington Town, he came on as a sub here for Warrrington last season and scored his first goal for them in their 2-0 win last April.
Andy Watson
Much travelled centre-half his experience will be vital as Curzon’s new squad will need time to gel. Uses his height well to scores goals from set pieces.
Graham Kay
Club Captain signed from Mossley, another experienced defender who weighs in with his share of the goals.
David Young
Defender signed last season from Ashton United, he was a member of Glossop FA Vase Final team in 2010 and so has a Wembley appearance to his name.
Jordan Goodeve
Tenacious midfielder in his second spell at Curzon. Originally signed in the 2008/9 season from Chorley he made just 13 appearances before moving on to Salford and Mossley.
Sam Walker
Midfield play maker signed from Woodley Sports. A player who seems to have everything, skilful on the ball, accurate passing and crossing and an eye for goal.
Daryl Weston
Another player who has re-signed for the club. Originally signed from Mossley at the start of the 2009/10 season he returned to Seel Park after failing to hold down a regular place in the Curzon midfield. Will be hoping for more chances to prove himself this time around.
Phil Edghill
Curzon’s longest serving player starting his seventh season at Curzon over two spells, completed his 200th appearance for Curzon last April but then his season ended the next game prematurely through injury.
Lee Blackshaw
Signed from Mossley, skilful winger who can take on and go past player creating opportunities for himself and others. Won the NWCL player of the year whilst at Glossop in the 2006/07 season.
Matty Kay
Another former Mossley player, he was their top scorer last season, and Curzon supporters will be hoping that he can weigh in with a few goals at the Tameside Stadium.
Steve Settle
Forward/Midfield player who can play on either wing and also knows where the goal is. Signed from Mossley in the close season.
Matty Purcell
Tricky winger having come through the youth and reserve team ranks at Curzon to make his debut last season. Quick and skilful, he came off the bench on several occasions last season to terrorise opposition defences, he will be hoping for a more regular place in the starting XI.
Chris McDonagh
Returned to the club at the beginning of last season after a brief spell in 2005/6. He just missed out on the league ‘golden boot’ award with his 34 goals last term but received a consolation in the form of the Supporters Player of the Year.
Kristian Dennis
Mobile centre-forward signed from Mossley who in turn had signed him from Woodley Sports.
A former pro at Macclesfield Town, he certainly knows where the goal is having scored four times in pre-season.
Mike Fish
Another former Mossley player signed for his second spell at Curzon, he will be hoping to get more opportunities than his spell here in 2009/10 where he made just one start and 8 sub appearances.
Hayden Buckley-Smith
Young goalkeeper improving with every game as he gains experience, he certainly knows how to look after himself being a British Muay Thai Boxing Champion and a British Taekwondo Champion.
John Flanagan
Manager who took over from long serving manager Gary Lowe at the end of last season, in a short space of time he has assembled a squad which should be a match for most teams in the Evo-Stik First Division.
Steve Brockley
Assistant Manager and Coach, he has joined from Leigh Genesis.
Kieran Bentley
Goalkeeping Coach with a wealth of experience at Blackburn Rovers, Steve is currently head of goalkeeping at Blackpool FC.
Jo Forshaw
Club Physio who held a similar position at Mossley, Jo is a Sports Therapist with her own clinic and is a great addition to the Curzon backroom staff.
