Curzon Ashton FC were delighted that the Football Association requested to hold a UEFA A License assessment day at the Tameside Stadium, Paul Ince and coaches from Everton and Leeds United were assessed for the coveted professional qualification.
Players from Curzon Ashton FC Academy and Ilkeston Town Youth Team were put through their passes under the watchful eye of the FA UEFA assessors, Jamie Robinson and former European cup winner with Aston Villa Dennis Mortimer.
Curzon Ashton FC Development officer Mark Bradshaw was delighted that the boys on the B-Tec level 2 got the opportunity to be coached by such high quality coaches just before they play in the final of the college cup to finish their season hopefully with some silverware.
