The 2015-2016 season has come to an end. The girls had an outstanding season, playing a total of 25 games unbeaten, drawing 3 of these with a strong Manchester Girls side.

The season threw challenges at the girls, but they never dropped in concentration and determination to achieve the best they possibly could. They set out at the beginning of the season to improve on last seasons League Cup and League winnings, to win the treble this season. But this did not come easy for the girls, they worked hard from the very beginning of the season, to the end, not becoming complacent when it was easy, to then not giving up when it got hard. Implementing everything that was worked on within training into a match situation, it was a delight to see.

This is the third season were the girls have won the League, and each year they have progressed from winning the League, then winning the League and the League Cup, and finally this season where they won the Knock Out Cup, League Cup, and the League. The Treble. Due to this the girls will be transferring leagues to the West Lancashire Girls League, and face teams such as Blackpool, Burnley, Preston North End, and Wigan Athletic.

I could not be prouder of the girls, and thank them enough for their hard work over the season, as well as the ongoing support from the parents and the club. Everyone played a vital role in the success of the girls and their development over the season.
