Dandenong Lose Duo To Bentleigh
Aron Wilford and Scott Bulloch have decided not to renew their contracts for season 2011 with the Dandenong Thunder.
The duo have instead opted to join fellow Victorian Premier League side Bentleigh Greens.
After joining the club from Southern Stars at the beginning of 2009, Wilford had become an integral part of the Thunder line up, helping the side claim the Minor Premiership in it's return season in the Victorian Premier League in 2009; as well as forming a formidable partnership at the heart of defence with veteran Lev Osman.
The 28 year old, who was vice captain at the club has left a massive gap to fill for the Thunder; with the club now on the look out for a replacement for the giant defender.
Wilford played 33 games in total for the Dandenong Thunder.
Left midfielder Bulloch who joined the club this year from A-League club Perth Glory informed the club of his decision to move last week, looking at playing with close friend and fellow Scotsman Craig Smart at the Greens.
Bulloch played 18 games for the club scoring 4 goals.
The club would like to thank both Aron and Scott for their contributions to the club and wish them well for the future.
