Darlaston continued to make chances and in the 21st minute another outstanding cross from Sammy Giles was met by Mark Swann with another trademark header hitting the back of the net. A second goal for Lucas Hough resulted in the visitors going in at half time with a deserved 4 nil lead. Wolverhampton played some good passing football but never really threatened the visitors goal and they were resticted to only having the one shot which was well wide of keeper Chris Collins post in the visitors goal.

The second half was dominated by the visitors who despite having a comfortable lead kept pressing to extend their advantage. Wolverhampton again played some good passing football but were never able to penetrate a solid Darlaston Back four where centre backs Ravi Sohal and Sean Westley were playing together for the first time this season. In the 66th minute another Sammy Giles cross was met in the box by Lucas Hough to score his third goal, his hat trick well deserved for an outstanding display in the middle of the park.

Excellent work down the right wing by Sammy Giles who again picked out Mark Swann only to see his header well saved by the keeper. Darlaston were awarded a free kick in the 85th minute 2 yards outside the box. Mark Swann hit a sweet shot towards the far left hand top corner only to see it hit the bar and go out for a goal kick. The final whistle went with Darlaston winning 5 nil and keeping their second consecutive clean sheet.

Sammy Giles at right wide midfield was also excellent today. His crossing was superb and he has four assists to his name today.Swanny led the line and was a handful all day for the home side and could easily have had a hat trick himself. Captain and midfielder, Ryan McAllister kept running all game and winning a lot of tackles in the middle of the park.Wolverhampton only had one chance in the first half and in the second half there attacking play was easily dealt with by a solid display from the visitors defence.
