CONGRATULATIONS TO NCMP7 AT THE AMSTERDAM SEVENS
NCMP7 Won the Canon Cup at this years event.
Newitts Centurions MP7 finished second to last years winners HFW Wailers in their group on Saturday at the Amsterdam Sevens tournament.
The results in their pool were:
Dutch Exiles 0 - 55 Newitts Centurions MP7
HFW Wailers 34- 12 Newitts Centurions MP7
Newitts Centurions MP7 56- 0 The Dutch Rudders RUFC
Finishing second meant that the Centurions progressed into the Canon Cup. They faced Millfield Old Boys Academy and Impact Sevens in the Cup Pool.
The results were:
Impact Sevens 14 - 19 Millfield Old Boys Academy
NCMP7 28 - 0 Millfield Old Boys Academy
NCMP7 21 - 19 Impact Sevens
As NCMP7 won their Canon Cup Pool they went on to face Irish side Malone RFC in the Semi Final, which the Centurions won 20 points to 7.
In the Canon Cup Final NCMP7 faced international side Susies Saloon, it was a close fought game but Newitts Centurions came out victors winning 21 points to 17 in order to lift the trophy.
Hopefully they can follow on from this success and win some more silverware when they attend Rugby Rocks 7's Tournement this weekend in London.
