Board of Directors Changes to Tackle New Challenges

One of the most significant upheavals on the Board for some years sees a new team head into the new era.

Two of the club's most recognised faces in Tony Stowe and Peter Griffin have stepped down from their positions. Tony will take up the new role of Operations Director dealing directly with the development of Blackwell Meadows and Darlington FC. Peter has stepped down for family reasons and we wish him and his family the very best for the future. Peter Young has stepped down from the Commercial Director role and Lindsay Evans has left her role as Ladies Representative to pursue a career in coaching the Ladies. It goes without saying that their commitment over their tenure has been unquestionable and we hope to have them all active in club affairs for many, many years to come.

Club President, Peter Sanderson, has been elected as Club Secretary and Michael Stowe steps up from Membership Secretary to become Commercial Director.

New faces join the Board and we welcome Mark Bennett on board as the first newly elected Treasurer in some years; Jessica Cheesman as Director of House; Graham Webster as Membership Secretary and Rebecca Snook as Ladies Representative.

All Directors will be looking to appoint a team of people beneath them to help with the day to day duties and should you want to get involved please get in touch with any one of them and I'm sure they'll be delighted for the support.
