Despite two heavy defeats in recent weeks to Sunderland and Guisborough, Darlington have won 4 of the last 6 games of which the latest was a hard fought victory over Winlaton Vulcans 13-12.
In the reverse fixture at Blackwell Meadows against Gosforth back in October Darlington emerged with the win however there was no shortage of excitement with both teams each picking up a try bonus point. The final score on the day was Darlington 46 - 40 Gosforth.
Gosforth are coming into the game after a narrow loss to Whitby at home 7-14 and will be fighting for every point in an effort to escape relegation. Darlington are currently sitting 10th in Durham and Northumberland 2 on 39 points and Gosforth sit 13th with 14 points.
Darlington Bulls will be hosting a 2nd home game in two weeks after securing a game against Middlesbrough 4s. Last Week the Bulls sealed a win over Sedgefield and the victory was celebrated in great fashion at the Darlington RFC Annual Beer Festival. Kick off is at 2.15pm.
