KICK OFF @ 2.15pm

As you will know, our U9s have been rewarded for a fantastic first season with a League Cup Final appearance at Rockliffe Park, the training complex of Middlesbrough FC.

It will be the fourth time a TSC team has appeared at the prestigious TJFA Cup Finals Day although the first team the Club has been represented in the League Cup Final.

The first TSC team to earn a Cup Final place was back in our Richmondshire League days when our U13s were narrowly defeated by Richmond Town in the Final at Northallerton Town FC.

In the seven seasons we have had teams in the Teesside Junior Football Alliance, TSC have been represented on Cup Finals Day on three previous occasions, this season being the fourth.

2010 U14s CHALLENGE CUP FINAL v MARTON HALL DRIVE – LOST 2-3
2011 U10s CHALLENGE CUP FINAL v STOCKTON TOWN – LOST 0-1 (aet)

Although we’ve yet to have a winning team in a Final, the day is a magnificent experience for the children with 22 Cup Finals being played on the same day and they’ll have to go a long way to play at a better facility than that at Rockliffe Park.

We’ve always had a fantastic day out and try to make the whole day one the players and parents/relatives will remember for a long time.
We’ve therefore made the following arrangements for Cup Final Day ;

12.30pm – COACH FOR PLAYERS & FAMILIES LEAVES ABBEY SCHOOL @ 12.30pm
12.45pm – ARRIVE AT ROCKLIFFE PARK, HURWORTH
1.00pm – TIME TO LOOK AROUND AND WATCH ANOTHER FINAL
1.45pm – PLAYERS WARM UP
2.15pm – KICK OFF
2.45pm – MATCH ENDS (subject to game not going to extra time)
2.50pm – PLAYERS AND PARENTS MAKE WAY TO PRESENTATION TENT FOR AWARDS
3.30pm – COACH FOR PLAYERS & FAMILIES LEAVES ROCKLIFFE TO GO TO POST MATCH PARTY AT WALWORTH CASTLE
4.00pm – ARRIVE AT WALWORTH CASTLE FOR POST MATCH PARTY AND BBQ
7.30pm – COACH FOR PLAYERS & FAMILIES LEAVES WALWORTH CASTLE FOR DROP OFF IN DARLINGTON[/i]

To add to the fun and to support the team, supporters are asked to dress in club colours! Anything blue and black will add to what is sure to be a fantastic atmosphere and memorable day for the children!
