Parking at Datchworth

Key Messages for 2010/11 Season
•We continue to work to finish the new car park and increase our capacity but we recognise that we this will not meet the total demand of all our members even once fully available.
•We recognise that parking will remain an issue and continue to pursue options to secure more capacity on a regular basis.
•We have made huge improvements in the management of our parking but need to continue to do better. This improvement is necessary to support our "Good Neighbour' initiative but also to support insuring the safety of our members, guests and local pedestrians.
•We believe the key to responsible parking is effective communication of advice and information to members and visitors about "Safe Parking'.
•The documents attached to this article all provide information on where and where not to park please use them.
•We will endeavour to use cones to mark "No Parking' areas but please help us by avoiding parking in any of the red areas even if cones are not present.
•Please continue to park responsibly without blocking drives, access roads and under no circumstances park on the village green.
•We will call on your support for helping with marshalling traffic. Each team has been allotted three Sundays in the season and details can be found in the fixture card.
