A wet and windy morning at Billing didn’t dampen the Danes start to a very miss matched fixture with Danes tacking possession immediately pressing hard with a well taken goal from Ciaran (MOM) in the 5th min.
With Billing putting up little resistance a flurry of goals following in the 10th, 14th and 16th minute from Ollie and in the 15th minute from Brandon making the score 5.0 at half time.

Billing, starting from a fast kickoff beat the keeper with a solo run into the box, giving them a consolation goal in the first minute of the second half. With the Danes re grouping and starting to turn on a Barcelona-esque style of play moving the ball left to right and back again and creating chances at goal by opening up Billings defence on many occasions. The passing and movement of the Danes was a joy for the parents to watch and it was not long before mini Messi (Freddie) popped up in the box tacking a well placed shot in the 18th minute.

The Danes continued to move the ball around quickly and closing Billing down on the counter attack with goals following in the 25th min Harvey, (captain)and Ollie in the 27th and 28th minute.

Billing’s goalie worked hard to keep the score line in single figures with some great saves, a credit to the Billing team.

A great team effort from all the players. All have worked hard this season and they have been a hard team to beat on any day (home or away) always giving 100% win or lose the boys have gelled together and grown as a team and individuals.

Dave and I would like to thank the boys and the parents for your continued support during the season.

Good luck in 2012-2013
