Two goals from Tommy Berwick, both superbly struck free kicks, gave Daventry Town a 2 -1 victory over last season’s Southern League Central Division Champions Dunstable Town in the third of their pre-season matches.
Berwick has now scored three goals in two games, he scored from the penalty spot in last weekend`s 4-1 defeat against Coalville Town.

Daventry Town`s pre - season continues next Tuesday 22nd July at home to Paget Rangers who are based in Erdington, Birmingham, currently playing their football in Midland League Division Two.

James Jepson has left Daventry Town after just two games! Jepson signed to Daventry Town from Kettering Town only eight days ago, he has now decided he does not want another season of travelling and commitment so has left the club!!!
