Daventry Town moved up to fourth place in the table after an excellent away victory at Beaconsfield SYCOB, always a very difficult place to visit and get any result!

Jamie Calvin was on target after twenty four minutes.
A Josh Cole cross from the left was met by Jamie Calvin whose header beat the SYCOB keeper to give Daventry the lead.

Former Physiotherapist Jack Champelovier, brother of Assistant Manager Neil Champelovier took time out to cover for usual Physio Martyn Standish, who was unavailable for this away fixture.

Josh O'Grady went close from 25 yards, after 12 minutes, but the SYCOB Keeper tipped the ball around his post for a corner.
Daventry come very close to extending their lead after a Daventry header came off the crossbar and appeared to strike a Beaconsfield arm. Appeals for a penalty from the Purple bench were waved away by the officials.
Soon after Ashley Deeney cleared a SYCOB effort off the line.
Kieran Fitzgerald came close to making it two nil to Daventry five minutes before the interval, but the SYCOB keeper saved well from close range.
SYCOB pulled a goal back after 70 minutes through Berry but Man of the Match Kieran Fitzgerald scored in the 79th minute to win the match for Town and take all three points back to Daventry.

Card: 83minute 2nd Yellow Josh Cole – Town went down to ten men for the remaining seven minutes as Josh Cole received a second yellow card.
