VP Ladies Lunch
On Saturday 28th January 2012 the Club hosted the inaugural VP Ladies Lunch. The Club has made history; as we suspect that this is the 1st time in the SE that such an event has been held.
On the day there were 40 ladies who enjoyed the lunch and two gentlemen from the visiting side, Warlingham. We were also blest with a lady referee and therefore the luck passed from the ladies on to our team who won their match.
There was a short speech from Mrs Kate Frorath who organised the lunch. The raffle monies were divided half going to Club Funds and the other to the East Kent Breast Cancer Mammography Appeal at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital.
It is envisaged, because of its success, that another lunch will be held. Ladies .. Please watch this space......
