What can you say? Mixed emotions throughout. Took the lead with a well taken goal from Suter(after good work from Jack Collins, who I thought at times looked a class above the rest and deserved MOM in my mind),only to think the worst when the equaliser went in a minute from time. Needless to say,the heads didnt drop and a great goal from Niall Jackson won the game! A good job really,'cos with the weather dropping out the sky making the conditions absolutely dreadful underfoot,I doubt if anybody would have had the strength to take penalties! On another note, good to see the new minibus on display and the new fence panels in front of the stand. Somebody has obviously taken the time to help smarten the ground. Slowly but surely. All we need is the team to turn the corner(hopefully with the injuries clearing up). Bring on the Oaks in the semi(and get a decent crowd in to see it!) Good luck next week against Holmesdale [Post Edited Saturday 18th of February 2012 09:49 PM] |

Fantastic win in difficult conditions from I can gather from over here in Spain. As Hoops Fan says let's hope this can be a turning point and we can start climbing up the league. Congratulations to everyone at the club and the supporters who braved the weather to watch the match. |
