Ellor Hat Trick condemns DVFC to first defeat!
DVFC suffered their first league defeat of the season losing 3-2 to Groves Social at Manvers...
DVFC took the lead thruogh Adam Stead but after that failed to match their performances of recent weeks as Groves punished the Dearne. Veteran marksman Steven Ellor scored a hat trick for the visitors as they looked comfortable with a 3-1 lead.
Jack Georgson pulled a goal back for the Dearne with 5 minutes to go but any hope of an equaliser came to no avail.
Although dissapointed, Dearne go into the Christmas break still top of the table and will be hoping to bounce back in the new year in their pursuit of the Premier Division Title.
