The Deepings Beer Festival - The Festival
The first beer festival held in September 2003 was purely a bit of fun for rugby club members held inside the club with half a dozen barrels of beer a great weekend was had by all so it was decided to run the event again the following September.
Since then we have grown the event to what you will experience this year. More than 50 real ales, traditional scrumpy ciders, country wines and speciality lagers all on your back door. Every year we select the best in local bands to perform for you and music plays all weekend.
It's a real family affair, with the beer tent for Dad, the Pimms and wine tent for Mum and the fun fair for the children we normally have the side show or display too.
The event is run by volunteers from the Rugby Club and is provided to 100% free of charge thanks to the volunteers and the generous donations from local and regional companies. With out this we couldn't keep giving the best bar prices around! So please support our sponsors where you can, just follow the link on the left of the page to our sponsors page. We do though charge £1 for your first glass of the day so you hang on to it for your visit from this a donation is given to a local or regional charity, this year it's the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.
The main club bar is open all weekend also for regular beer, spirits and soft drinks, hot food is available too all weekend.
