It is with heavy heart that we have too announce the passing of a genuine Clubman the funeral details are as follows:

Malc always had an opinion, he was so supportive of everything that the Club did. He couldn't let the social Secretary in him go and would always take posters and put them up in shops and pubs. A great Clubman, a good friend and a great loss.
- Mark Owen, DRUFC Chairman

The funeral of Malcolm Gregson will take place at 13:30pm on Friday 13th March at the Peterborough Crematorium.
To be followed by a gathering of all able to attend at the Rugby Club in Market Deeping.

Long standing Vice President, Malcolm Gregson passed away on the morning of Tuesday, 17th.

Malc, in recent times, frequented the bar on a Thursday evening popping in for "just one more", he supported the teams on match days and attended the occasional Club dinner where more often than not he needed a bit of help negotiating the veranda steps on his way home!

Malc held the position of Social Secretary and sat on the Committee for many years, he was instrumental in founding the Deepings Beer Festival, the annual November Fireworks display and setting up the long running summer car boot sales all of which are still successfully running to this day.

Our thoughts and sympathies are with Malc's family and as a club we will offer as much support as we can as we remember a much respected and genuine Clubman.
