Mark White scores loan goal for Wildcats

Mark White scored his third goal of the season to help lift the team over Freeman by a score of 2-0. Freeman scored an own on a ball driven across the box by Tyler Schardein.

The squad came out slow and were sloppy with passes and Freeman pressed hard and kept us on our heels for the first 15 to 20 minutes. Eventuall the boys settled down, possessed a little and were able to mount a few offensive attacks. White put away a ball that 4 or 5 players touched before Kevin Carroll played the ball in the box for the first goal.
Good combination play and recollection of the ball kept Freeman under pressure and forced their keeper to make quality saves to keep them in the game.

The team remained perfect with a victory to improve to 4-0 and will probably remain #1 in the metro polls for boys soccer.
This week the boys popped up in the Got Soccer national high school rankings at #32. Fun to follow as long as we stay focused and take care of games and improvement.

Masar Ibrahim, Simran Singh, Nick Onofrio, Mac Salter and Patrick McNermy all contributed off the bench to the victory.

Sean Gibbons, the holding midfielder for the squad hasn't tallied a point so far but has been one of the most consistent players on the 2015 team on both sides of play.

Next game is COSBY. One of the biggest match ups between southside powers and west end powers. Game time is 7:30 @ DRHS
