It seemed like a shootout in the end but it was a tough fought game on both sides.

Godwin opened up the score line with a good ball into their forward and an even better first touch to get underneath our defenders. Our goalie came out but he touched the ball around him and had an easy tap in.
!-0 Godwin.
We responded in under a minute with a ball over top by Connor Pfister and Tyler Shupack getting past his man for a cross on the ground that Hugo Eichner put into the back of the net. 1-1.
Just before the half time they slipped a ball past our defender and they slammed it home near post to go up 2-1. We deserved better, The second half came out with a more determined wildcat side but a keeper technical mistake gave them a goal and we found ourselves down 3-1. We pressed and attacked with urgency and got one back but they put another right on top of ours. Our goal was a set piece own goal on Godwin.
Down 2 with about 12 or 13 to play you would never know as we continued to attack and Colin Schaffer buried one with plenty of time. 4-3 now. We had 4 or five really good shots but eventually the clock ran out and we took the loss. Definately didn't deserve that. Next game Monday 3/24 versus Atlee.
