At the County Senior League AGM Striker Steve Ellor & Secretary Steve Pugh both received individual honours for the 2014/15 season.

Steve Ellor received the award for both leading scorer in Division 2 and overall leading scorer in the whole league though amusingly the division 2 trophy had an inscription on it saying he was a Denaby Main player, the league are going to change this.

It was also great to learn that secretary Steve Pugh was given an award as the best administrator for clubs in Division 2, an award everyone at Denaby United will fully agree with.

Well done to both of them.

Other matters decided at the AGM:
The top 4 of Div 2 got promoted so Byron House will join Denaby Main, Caribbean Sports and ourselves in Div1.

Though there are no fixtures out yet the league's opening day games will be on 15 August.

There are 15 teams in Div 1 meaning we will have 28 league games over the season so it will be a busy fixture list especially in the early stages.

In Div 2, surprisingly the League have accepted Treeton Terriers again who many will know folded early last season, 3 other teams including old Doncaster Senior League foes Hemsworth MW were also accepted into the League.

Let the season Start!!!
